Applicable to serving officers only, sickness benefit is payable when pay has been reduced in accordance with police regulations due to ill health.
Benefits available:
The benefits can be payable at a fixed amount every 28 days, or as a percentage of your salary, for up to 26 weeks at the Half Pay level with a further 26 weeks at the No Pay level if both benefits have been included in your scheme.
